Snyk integration
Manage Snyk organization and group access and pull projects, issues, and audit logs into service requests.
What it connects
- Retrieve organizations, groups, and memberships before an access change.
- Pull projects and targets to see what is being scanned.
- Retrieve issues when a team asks about findings in a project.
- Pull audit logs for security reviews and access questions.
What it automates
- Invite users to an organization with the requested role.
- Update or remove organization membership as people change teams or leave.
- Add, update, or remove group memberships and their roles.
- Add or remove issue ignores after a security lead approves.
In practice
- A developer needs access to a Snyk organization. After approval, STLabs invites them with the requested role and tracks the invite on the ticket.
- When a developer leaves, STLabs removes their Snyk organization and group memberships during offboarding, alongside access to their other developer tools.
- A team asks to ignore a finding that does not apply. After the security lead approves, STLabs adds the ignore in Snyk.
- An engineering manager asks which issues are open on a project. STLabs pulls them from Snyk and attaches the list to the ticket.
